Workspace guide
Workspaces are project-scoped. The project switcher, Tool Surface, Modulon popouts, run history, and saved presets are always tied to the project you have open.
- Tool Surface (top of the workbench): an “All tools” control that you can collapse. It lists every tool as a compact chip; open a tool in the main surface, detach it to a separate window, or duplicate a second window without removing the tool from the host. A detached tool can be returned from the rail when you are done.
- Modulon + browser windows: popouts share state with the project. Copying a detached tab’s URL reopens the same view; when you close the main workspace, tracked popouts close with it so you do not leave stray windows.
- Use the floating workspace rail to focus popouts, hide inline panes, and reorder what matters. Hidden panes stay available from the rail.
- You can collapse the tool list in the workbench to give the active tool more room on smaller screens.
- Run history stores reusable settings and download artifacts—not oversized pasted blobs. Video clip queues in Image Batch are session-local and are not uploaded for processing.
- Use the Tool Surface, detach, and rail in the full workspace on app.catalogrise.com after you sign in.
